For the two-story residential home built in 1950, Alward Construction worked with Macy Architecture to transform the building inside and out. The team added a third floor that blends seamlessly. A rain screen of acetylated wood and custom CNC-cut aluminum plates shield the house from moisture and weathering on the front and rear exteriors. It also disguises the garage door on the street-facing side.
